CEED Transitional Living Community provides safe, supportive transitional housing for men and women age 55 and older in Flint and Grand Rapids Michigan.
We serve older adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability, including veterans and returning citizens. Our goal is to provide a stable, supportive environment where residents can strengthen their independence and work toward permanent housing.
Who We Serve
Housing Support for Adults 55+
CEED serves men and women age 55 and older who are capable of independent living and need a safe, stable place to call home during a period of transition.
We welcome:
Older Adults Experiencing Homelessness or Housing Instability. Providing a stable environment for seniors who need transitional housing while working toward long-term stability.
Veterans Age 55+
Supporting older veterans who need transitional housing and connections to community and veteran resources.
Returning Citizens Age 55+
Providing a supportive environment for older adults transitioning back into the community after incarceration.

At CEED, we understand that a stable home can be an important first step toward rebuilding.
Our residents have different life experiences, but they share a common need for safe, supportive transitional housing. CEED provides adults age 55 and older with a comfortable living environment where they can focus on their goals, strengthen independent-living skills, connect with community resources, and prepare for their next chapter.
Residents must be independent with their activities of daily living (ADLs) and able to manage their own medications and personal-care needs.
Now Accepting Referrals
CEED welcomes referrals from case managers, social workers, healthcare and discharge professionals, veteran organizations, re-entry professionals, senior-service organizations, and other community partners serving adults age 55 and older.
